I am pleased to announce I will be reopening for workshops on the 4th July following guidance from the UK Government.
The pandemic has been very difficult for everyone; businesses and individuals, and so this is not a decision that I have taken lightly. Some people will be very keen to get out and do something different, and others will be very cautious and anxious.
To help, I am giving people that have postponed, the opportunity to re-book onto workshops available until the end of the year. There is no rush. The workshops themselves will have smaller numbers, so there are more dates available.
I have put a number of measures in place to reduce the risks to people coming to the studio. You can look at our measures here.
SILVER AND STONE WORKSHOP COVID SAFETY PROCEDURES
* Please Do Not Come Or Enter The Building If You Are Feeling Unwell *
This includes having a high temperature (this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back – you do not need to measure your temperature) or if you have a new, continuous cough (this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours- if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).
Please let us know and we can re-arrange your workshop date.
The studio will be thoroughly cleaned before each workshop, including the tools, desks, chairs and toilet.
Our entrance door will be open already, reducing contact with door handles.
Please use the hand sanitiser on entry and exit.
We will leave door open (and windows if possible) for good ventilation.
On using the toilet, please use the anti-bac provided when going in and going out. Please also use the anti-bac spray for the door handles, taps and flush.
Hand sanitiser will be provided on each desk, and anti-bac wipes for the equipment.
There will be 2 metres distancing between your individual desks.
You will have an individual tool kit each on desk, which will have been previously wiped down with anti-bac wipes. We ask that you wipe them down once the workshop has finished.
We recommend wearing masks for when close-up work is needed.
Please bring your own mask to wear during the workshop. I do have masks available if you require them.
To reduce contact, please bring your own flasks of drinks, snacks and lunch, they will not be provided to avoid any contact.
Lunch can be eaten at your own desk or outside if preferred.
You can see what to expect in our reorganised studio in this short video.
